Keegan Geldean, a junior at Niwot High in Colorado, won the boys championship race by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 15:40.3 at the Desert Twilight Festival at Toka Sticks Golf Course in Mesa, Ariz. Geldean also helped Niwot capture the team title by a 42-77 margin against Durango High from Colorado.
